Wanda Jackson
Wanda Jackson is a singer, songwriter and musician who was one of the first popular female rockabilly singers and a pioneering rock-and-roll artist. She is known as the Queen of Rockabilly or the First Lady of Rockabilly.” After rockabilly became less popular with audiences, she move into a mainstream country music and went on to have a string of hits. Her rockabilly career had a resurgence a few years ago when the genre become popular again with Americana audiences. Wanda is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame.
Jamie Floyd
Hit songwriter and artist Jamie Floyd is like so many songwriters in Music City, holding down a day gig while pursuing her musical dreams. Those dreams got a turbo-boost recently when artist Ashley Monroe recorded her song The Blade, making it the title cut on her album – which was Grammy- nominated Best Country Album. Jamie’s songs have been featured in TV shows and movies, like Lifetime’s Manson’s Lost Girls and ABC’s Nashville. She’s got a brand new album out called Sunshine and Rainbows and was featured in a recent documentary called The Last Songwriter, along with other heavy-hitters like Garth Brooks, Alan Shamblin, Jim Lauderdale, Tom Douglas, Tony Arata and others.
