We’ve been talking ABOUT him for over a year, but now we’re going to talk with songwriter, producer and A-List studio/touring musician, Buddy Hyatt! As a songwriter, he’s had songs cut by Kenny Rogers, David Frizzell, Sammy Kershaw and so many others. As a keyboardist/percussionist, he has toured with some of music’s biggest artists, like hit rock group Toto. As a producer, he works with so many Country Music greats and Nashville newcomers on full projects, like George Jones, Dailey & Vincent, Jo Dee Messina, Lee Greenwood, Tracy Lawrence, TG Shepherd and so many more. Of course, Buddy is our go-to guy for songwriter demo sessions.
Natalie Hemby
We’re super excited to welcome award-winning hit songwriter Natalie Hemby in the second half of the show. Natalie has a truckload of hit so far with songs like White Liar, Automatic, Baggage Claim and Only Prettier for Miranda Lambert, Downtown for Lady Antebellum, Pontoon and Tornado for Little Big Town and Drinks After Work for Toby Keith. Natalie has a brand new album and documentary out called Puxico that chronicles what she calls “the roots of her inheritance.” Really good stuff!
