Wanda Jackson<\/strong><\/a> is a singer, songwriter and musician who was one of the first popular female rockabilly singers and a pioneering rock-and-roll artist. She is known as the Queen of Rockabilly<\/em> or the First Lady of Rockabilly<\/em>.” After rockabilly became less popular with audiences, she move into a\u00a0mainstream country music and went on to have a string of hits. Her rockabilly career had a resurgence a few years ago when the genre become popular again with Americana audiences. Wanda is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame<\/strong> and the\u00a0Rock and Rock Hall of Fame<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Hit songwriter\u00a0and artist Jamie Floyd<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is like so many songwriters in Music City, holding down a day gig while pursuing her musical dreams. Those dreams got a turbo-boost recently when artist Ashley Monroe recorded her song The Blade<\/em>, making it the title cut on her album \u2013 which was Grammy-\u00a0nominated Best Country Album<\/em>. Jamie’s songs have\u00a0been\u00a0featured in TV shows and movies, like Lifetime’s Manson’s Lost Girls<\/em> and ABC’s\u00a0Nashville<\/em>.
