Jim Parker
Jim Parker is an award-winning songwriter whose hits included very first single for artist John Anderson called I’ve Got a Feelin’ (Somebody’s Been Stealin’) and well and Anderson’s stealth hit, Chicken Truck. Jim is the creator and host of a popular show at the Von Braun Center Playhouse in Huntsville, AL called Jim Parker’s Songwriter Series, where he showcases the incredible talent of hit songwriters from Los Angeles, Canada, Georgia, Nashville, TN, Muscle Shoals, AL, and surrounding areas.
Bob Morrison
Bob Morrison is a hit songwriter who was named ASCAP’s Country Songwriter of the Year in 1978, 1980, 1981 and 1982, as well as NSAI’s Songwriter of the Year in 1981! Big hits with artists like Conway Twitty, Oak Ridge Boys, Kenny Rogers and the Dixie Chicks! Bob was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame last year, along with our pals Aaron Barker, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Townes Van Zandt. A VERY short list of his hits include You Decorated My Life for Kenny Rogers, Lookin’ for Love for Johnny Lee, You’re the One for the Oak Ridge Boys, and Tonight the Heartache’s on Me for The Dixie Chicks.
