His songs include Dr. HookÕs megahit When YouÕre in Love With a Beautiful Woman, Eddie RabbittÕs No. 1 I Love a Rainy Night and Drivin’ My Life Away to name only a few. His songs have been cut by legends as such as Alabama, Glen Campbell, George Jones, Barbara Mandrell and Dolly Parton. Even Stevens is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
