Johnny was the very first Mexican-American singer songwriter to hit it big in Country music with over 15 number one singles to his credit and many more top-tens. Hit hits include Ridin’ My Thumb to Mexico, That’s the Way Love Goes and Just Get Up and Close the Door. Johnny is a member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame.
