We chat with legendary hit songwriter and recording artist, Bruce Channel. Bruce’s career ignited with a song he wrote and recorded, Hey, Baby, which became a million selling #1 hit. As a songwriter, Bruce went on to write hits for other artists, like TG Sheppard’s Party Time, John Conlee’s As Long As IÕm RockinÕ With You, Mel McDanielÕs smash, Stand Up and songs for The Oak Ridge Boys, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tom Jones and Alabama. Bruce is member the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
